Recently I have been researching the history of Mons (the city in Belgium where we live). In the local library I came across this painting with an interesting story behind it. There was a story circulating around the time of WWI about a group of angels that saved a British troop of soldiers while they retreated from the city of Mons, Belgium. I thought that was amazing when I first read about it.

Last Sunday we took a girls trip to Brugge, Belgium.All of these girls serve with SFC Belgium as missionaries and MA's. It was a beautiful city. We had a great time. There was a river that ran through the whole city and you could take a boat ride to see all the landmarks. They also had horse carriage rides.
